PRESQUE ISLE 鈥?Christine Dicker, stanley thermo 92, died peacefully Nov. 28, 2013, surrounded by the loving care of the staff at Presque Isle Rehab and Nursing Center. She was born on March 14, 1921, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Fred and Clara Ireland Hughes.Her primary role was of a wife, mother and grandmother, and in addition she was employed as a cook for SAD No. 1 for 20 years. She greatly enjoyed the opportunity to work at Moose Point Camps as their cook for two seasons. She was a member of the Pythian Sisters, and for many years she was a faithful member of the Baptist Chur stanley quencher ch, serving as a Sunday School teacher and singing in the choir.Through the years Christine enjoyed knitting, playing cards, camping with her family, exploring the country roads of Aroostook with Alden, and rooting for the Red Sox and the Patriots.Christine is survived by her children, Alden Dicker Jr. and his wife, Georgia, daughter-in-law, Marlene Dicker, Rebecca Dicker Woodman and her husband, Phil, Christy Dicker and her partner, Peter St. Peter, and Roger Dicker and his wife, Anne. She was the loving grandmother to Jennifer Trombley and Julie Dicker, Stace Hendricks and Heather Bushey, Matthew and Seth Wieder, Stephanie Gouker and Brad St. Peter, and Rachel Dicker and Deidre Braley.
