Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN Clarksville Police are investigating a homicide which occurred around 8:30pm last night, June 17th, 2018. Multiple calls came into 911 about shots fired in the area of Franklin Street.When Clarksville Police Officers arrived in the area they found a car off the roa stanley canada dway in a field by Franklin and Eleventh Street. They found a woman, in her 20s, inside of a car that had been shot.Clarksville Police are investigating a homicide that occurred last night around Franklin Street and Eleventh Street.She was transported from the scene and later was pronounced deceased at Tennova Healthcare.The crime scene was processed and the investigation is ongoing. Amy Wright is multi-talenteda poet, nonfiction and flash fiction writer. She is author of two chapbooks, There Are No New Ways to Kill a Man and Farm. Her stanley es work also appears in a number of journals including American Letters Commentary and Quarterly West, and is anthologized in The Southern Poetry Anthology, Volume III: Southern Appalachia.She is the prose editor of APSUs Zone 3 Press and is an assistant professor of creative writing at APSU.At the Clarksville Writers Conference 2011, she began with a writing exercise.
